Applying from within Thailand:
If you are currently in Thailand on a Non-Immigrant “O” Visa, a Tourist Visa, or another type of visa, you can apply for a conversion to a Non-Immigrant “ED” Visa at the Thai Immigration Office. The converted visa will be valid for 90 days.
Applying from abroad:
You can apply for a Non-Immigrant “ED” Visa at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your home country. The visa is initially valid for 90 days, and the application fee varies depending on the specific consulate where you submit your application.
